The Need

In today's competitive business conditions we need to create systems and solutions faster. They need to be better, more innovative solutions, with high commitment from all the parties involved.  This can be a serious challenge when participants may feel that their job or skills base is threatened by restructuring or business reengineering.  We need to increase the number of participants in the decision making process without slowing it down or stifling creative inputs.

Facilitation

Facilitation is a particular skill which can be brought to bear on the problem It can be used at all levels, from the most strategic direction setting to addressing detailed operational issues. It is a way of harnessing all available resources and sources of innovation in a constructive way, so that all parties have a sense of ownership of the outcome.
