Our Techniques and Deliverables of Application and Solution Architecture course was bursting at the seams with all the new stuff that we need to cover these days (e.g. Cloud, Security, UX, AI..) and we have for a while wanted to do something more in the application portfolio space, so…
We have split the course and will now offer two separate 3 day courses:
Application Architecture and Portfolio Management
Targets enterprise level application architects and portfolio managers. It covers the analysis of an application landscape, including maturity and investment as a baseline, then the skills to evolve and expand the landscape effectively to support business, digitally transform, leverage technology, enhance agility and manage return on investment and risk.
Solution Architecture
Now focusses on the definition of the scope, goals, requirements, design and realisation of application, data and technology solutions. It covers modelling, design, use of reference models and patterns, tradeoffs and how to meet goals of functionality, usability, reliability, scalability, performance and security
What if I want to attend both?
The shorter courses are more focussed and should enable more busy people to attend. If you still feel you need the whole enchilada as offered by the former course, we will bundle attendance of the two at the same price as the previous five day course, shown below.
