Inspired Webinar:

Applications as Assets with Tudor Girba

Is your Application Landscape a barrier to progress
or a platform to launch from?

Most organisations have great strategic vision and ambitions, but find that their current systems prevent them from making rapid progress. A few can leverage past investment to rapidly offer new products and services or adopt new business models gaining competitive advantage. The difference is often the degree to which the current architecture is understood and the speed with which necessary changes can be identified and applied without losing current functionality.

Tudor Girba and his team at Feenk have studiously evolved and refined the Moldable Development concept and associated tools, “the Glamorous Toolkit”, to revolutionise the analysis and understanding of existing systems and data. Instead of reading code (which is very inefficient, time consuming, costly and error prone) they use sophisticated tools to automatically ingest existing systems and translate them to semantic knowledge. Query tools, rapidly customisable views and analytical graphics then make it easy to understand existing systems - even very large code bases in legacy technology.

It becomes easy to plan changes with much less effort and lower risk. Forward engineering is possible by generating new implementations and migration tools.
